Where do Occupational Therapists work?

At the present time, there are 12 expatriate OT's living in Egypt. Approximately half of these therapists are actively working in private clinics, a rehabilitation center, a community based program or private practice.

Occupational Therapists work worldwide with all age groups and in a wide range of physical and psychosocial areas.

Setting may include, but are not limited to:

  • Medical & Psychiatric Hospitals
  • Private Clinics
  • Rehabilitation Centers
  • Home Care
  • School
  • Industry
  • Community Based Programs


Many occupational therapists also work in private practice and as educators and consultants.
